Booking Terms and Conditions

1. Upon a verbal agreement being reached, the inclusive terms and conditions shall be deemed acceptable, regardless of whether a signed Confirmation Agreement is returned.

2. Cancellation of any confirmed or contracted event, whereby a non-refundable deposit has been paid, within 14 days of the event taking place will result in the booker being liable to the full fee of the event booked, with no exceptions.

3. The Artist and the venue must hold all insurances and safety documentation prescribed by current legislation within the United Kingdom and are happy to present.

4. A non refundable deposit of £45 is required for all Midzkidz party and disco bookings. Larger Deposits may be required in certain circumstances such as bespoke party bookings and large bookings.

5. Payment for events will be discussed upon booking. These deposits are strictly non-refundable. Failure to produce a deposit may result or the relevant booking information required may result in your event being cancelled.

6. We cover a 25 mile radius from the business address, additional milage outside of our catchment area will be subject to travel charge(Additional £10 for up to 49 mile radius from business address.)

7. Parties/events further than 30 miles from the main Midzkidz office address will incur Additional additional Travel charges, to be discussed and agreed prior to a booking agreement taking place.

8. Entertainment, games and activities may vary from one party/event to the next. All parties are adjusted to be age appropriate, it is important we are given full details at the beginning of the booking process in order to prepare in the best way possible for your party.

9. To Allow Midzkidz Parties and Entertainment to deliver the best possible entertainment for your booking, children and participants MUST be supervised by at least one fully responsible adult per 5 children at all times As we do not hold Childcare qualifications at this current time.

We require a minimum of 1 responsible Adult to every 5 children, but more are of course welcome.

10. Midzkidz staff aim to arrive at the arranged venue 45 minutes to 1 hour ahead of the scheduled entertainment start time (party/event type dependant), however Midzkidz can not be held responsible for situations out of our control that may contribute to or cause delays, such as road traffic incidents etc. All route preparations are advised by current Google maps data.

11. Midzkidz staff reserve the right to refuse entry or participation to any individual attending a party/event at any time due to overcrowding, potential fire safety hazards or health and safety concerns.

12.Foul and abusive language or threatening behaviour towards Midzkidz staff will not be tolerated From any Party, In the Event this should Occur, All Entertainment would cease immediately and the police will be contacted.

13. Midzkidz events are only to be attended and participated by individuals that can make sound judgement and are fit and well enough to do so. Any medical conditions that may present a risk to others must be brought to the attention of a member of staff as soon as is reasonably possible.

14. The responsibility lies with the Customer to seek treatment for any present medical condition and refrain from attending if advised.

15. By confirming a booking with Midzkidz entertainment and settling our deposit clause you agree to the above outlined terms and conditions.

16. All party packages run in succession from their start time unless otherwise agreed prior to booking confirmation, this means. *If you book a 2-hour party package to begin at 12pm midday, the package will then conclude at 2pm. All “breaks” in entertainment or periods of downtime will be subject to additional charges if the customer expects additional time to be added on after the booked slot. Packages may not be split up over the course of additional time. If you wish to extend an already existing party package we advertise, this can be done at an additional cost, as such when deposit payment is made, you are confirming that you understand your booking is then LOCKED IN to that time slot exactly.

17. Any amendment to a booked party after payment of deposit may be subject to an amendment fee of £10, this includes but is not limited to; changing of event times, changing of event venue, adding additional services, adding additional time.

18. All Midzkidz Parties and Entertainment personnel hold relevant enhanced DBS checks updated once every 4 years, Public liability insurance up to the value of £10M provided through Mobile DJ Network, and relevant PAT testing certification for their electronic equipment, we are more than happy to provide copies of all of the above, but this must be requested 2 weeks prior to any booking taking place, if required.

19. Any additional service provided by a 3rd party company is solely the responsibility of that company, we act as an agent in certain circumstances for other companies, but their work is their own responsibility. Midzkidz parties and Entertainment will not be held responsible for issues arising from 3rd party contractors.

20. Midzkidz Parties and Entertainment categorically cannot attend and entertain at Residential Properties for insurance and health and safety purposes. A suitable venue with at least a 5m x5m space must be sourced and hired by you, the customer. Failure to book and provide the full address and details of a suitable venue may result in your booking being cancelled.
