Terms and Conditions and Booking Agreement
***The below outlined terms and conditions must be agreed to via signature below before
we can process and confirm your booking and enter it into the diary.
Please ensure the below Signature field is signed and Submitted before paying your deposit.***
1. Upon a verbal agreement being reached, the inclusive terms and conditions shall be deemed acceptable, regardless of whether a signed Confirmation Agreement is returned.
2. Cancellation of any confirmed or contracted event within 14 days of the event date, whereby a non-refundable deposit has been paid, will result in the booker being liable to settle the full balance of the event booked, with no exceptions.
3. Failure to Cancel a Booking at least 15 Days Prior to an Event that is no longer taking place, will result in the booker being liable to the full fee of the event booked, with no exceptions.
4. The Artist and the venue must hold all insurances and safety documentation prescribed by current legislation within the United Kingdom and are happy to present, MKDJ Will be happy to provide all of our documentation including PLI insurance, Pat test certification and Enhanced DBS check upon request.
5. A non refundable deposit of 50% is required for all MKDJ disco bookings. Larger Deposits may be required in certain circumstances such as bespoke party bookings and large bookings.
6. Payment for events will be discussed upon booking. Deposits are strictly non-refundable. Failure to produce a deposit or the relevant booking information required may result in your event being cancelled.
7. We cover a 25 mile radius from the business address, additional milage outside of our catchment area will be subject to travel charge(Additional £10 for up to 30 mile radius from business address.)
8. Parties/events further than 30 miles from the main Midzkidz office address will incur Additional additional Travel charges, to be discussed and agreed prior to a booking agreement taking place.
9. The More we know about your music taste, the better we can make your evening, we cannot guarentee we will be able to access all requests whilst out at functions due to limited internet access, so requests in advance will guarantee you will not miss out on your favourite tracks.
10. MKDJ staff aim to arrive at the arranged venue 45 minutes to 1 hour ahead of the scheduled entertainment start time (party/event type dependant), however Midzkidz can not be held responsible for situations out of our control that may contribute to or cause delays, such as road traffic incidents etc. All route preparations are advised by current Google maps data.
11. MKDJ staff reserve the right to refuse entry or participation to any individual attending a party/event at any time due to overcrowding, potential fire safety hazards or health and safety concerns OR Foul or abusive behaviour towards other guests or staff, MDKJ staff reserve the right to be treated fairly and profressionally.
13. Foul and abusive language or threatening behaviour towards MKDJ staff will not be tolerated From any Guest or client, In the Event this should Occur, All Entertainment would cease immediately and the police will be contacted.
14. Midzkidz events are only to be attended and participated by individuals that can make sound judgement and are fit and well enough to do so. Any medical conditions that may present a risk to others must be brought to the attention of a member of staff as soon as is reasonably possible.
15. The responsibility lies with the Customer to seek treatment for any present medical condition and refrain from attending if advised.
16. By confirming a booking with MKDJ and settling our deposit clause you agree to the above outlined terms and conditions.
17. All party packages run in succession from their start time unless otherwise agreed prior to booking confirmation, this means. *If you book a 5 Hour DJ Package to begin at 7pm, the package will then conclude at 12pm. All “breaks” in entertainment or periods of downtime will be considered "time at work" and will be charged at the standard rate, we do not offer discounts for "downtime at work"
18.Packages may not be split up over the course of additional time. If you wish to extend an already existing booking, this can be done at an additional cost and must be requested at least 7 days in advance of the booking, MKDJ Staff reserve the right to refuse time extensions if not requested 7 days in advance and categorically can not offer extensions if requested on the evening of the event during our service.
19. If You wish to Extend the Time of an existing booking, you must request this via call, text or email at least 7 Days prior to the event taking place, This time is charged at an additional £40 per hour, No Requests to extend time shall be granted on the day of an event without prior agreement to support our busy diary.
20. Any amendment to a booked party after payment of deposit may be subject to an amendment fee of £10, this includes but is not limited to; changing of event times, Event Dates (subject to availability) changing of event venue, adding additional services or adding additional time.
21. All MKDJ personnel hold relevant enhanced DBS checks updated once every 4 years, Public liability insurance up to the value of £10M provided through Mobile DJ Network, and relevant PAT testing certification for their electronic equipment, we are more than happy to provide copies of all of the above, but this must be requested 2 weeks prior to any booking taking place, if required.
22. Any additional service provided by a 3rd party company is solely the responsibility of that company, we act as an agent in certain circumstances for other companies, but their work is their own responsibility. Midzkidz parties and Entertainment will not be held responsible for issues arising from 3rd party contractors.
23. MKDJ categorically cannot attend and entertain at Residential Properties for insurance and health and safety purposes. A suitable venue with at least a 5m x 5m space must be sourced and hired by you, the customer. Failure to book and provide the full address and details of a suitable venue may result in your booking being cancelled without refund.
